Board Members

Tinia Snow is a civil rights attorney in the Office for Civil Rights (“OCR”) for the U.S. Department of Education.

Tinia has dedicated her career to public service. Prior to joining OCR, Tinia was a trial attorney for over 8 years with the Youth Advocacy Division of the Committee for Public Counsel Services, where she represented indigent juvenile defendants in various delinquency and youthful offender matters. Her keen intellect and zealous advocacy were complemented and enhanced by her deep compassion and willingness to go that extra mile to help her clients and colleagues. Tinia’s stellar work as a defense attorney were recognized by the Massachusetts Bar Association as a recipient of the 2019 Access to Justice Award.

Tinia, a Boston native, received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a B.S. in criminal justice.
