Board Members

Araba is an Assistant General Counsel at the National Association of Government Employees. There she represents public state and federal employees in arbitrations and negotiations involving terminations, disciplinary matters, and contract disputes. Prior to NAGE, Araba was an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office, where she handled challenging criminal matters including domestic violence, drug cases and OUI’s.

Before becoming an attorney, Araba was in politics and worked for Congressman Stephen F. Lynch for almost a decade. She was a Staff Assistant and later became a District Representative, helping constituents in education matters, specifically in student loans and individual education plans.

Araba is a graduate of New England Law | Boston, Evening Division. In her free time, she serves on the Executive Board at her church and her town’s Recreation Advisory Board. She also enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, dancing, and pottery.
