Board Members

Francesse J. Canty is a Labor Counsel for Boston Public Schools. Attorney Canty represents the Boston School Committee and the Superintendent in all labor matters. Attorney Canty helps administer the District’s collective bargaining agreements with the Unions that represent District employees.

Attorney Canty is very active in the Boston legal community. She is a board member of the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys.

Attorney Canty received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A. in International Studies and Criminology from the University of South Florida.
