Board Members

Jasmine N. Brown is a trade secret litigation associate at Greenberg Traurig LLP. Jasmine regularly handles trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes, including pre-litigation investigations and enforcement actions for life sciences, health care, technology, financial services, and education companies seeking to protect proprietary and confidential information when senior employees depart. She brings first-chair responsibility for case strategy and discovery management in high-stakes disputes, and works to negotiate resolutions that preserve client interests without the cost of protracted litigation. She has secured dispositive rulings narrowing claims ahead of trial and brings a distinctive perspective on appellate advocacy and judicial decision-making from her clerkship.

Her commercial litigation practice spans breach of contract, tortious interference, business interruption insurance coverage, and Uniform Commercial Code claims, with experience preparing matters through trial readiness, including jury instructions, witness examinations, and exhibit strategy. In the government enforcement space, Jasmine defends companies and individuals responding to civil investigative demands from U.S. Attorney’s Offices, Department of Justice and FBI investigations, False Claims Act litigation, and congressional inquiries. She designs and manages large-scale document review programs, coordinates privilege protocols, and develops strategic responses calibrated to government priorities. Her internal investigations work includes conducting witness interviews and delivering findings reports for hospitals, financial services companies, and educational institutions facing allegations ranging from workplace misconduct to regulatory compliance concerns.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked at another large, national law firm and completed a judicial clerkship at the Supreme Judicial Court with the Honorable Chief Justice Kimberly S. Budd. She has been named to The National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 under 40 list for Massachusetts since 2024 and has been named as one of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch since 2026.

Jasmine maintains an active pro-bono practice, focusing on areas of racial justice and equity, civil rights and discrimination, education, veterans’ benefits, and housing. In 2023, Jasmine was awarded the Leadership in Pro-Bono award by the Lawyers for Civil Rights and the President’s Award by the Boston Bar Association for her work on the Martha’s Vineyard Migrant case.

In her free time, Jasmine enjoys reading, traveling, visiting with her family, and playing with her Mini Schnauzer.

Jasmine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wake Forest University and is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law.
