Kareema Scott


Board Member

Kareema Scott is a Staff Attorney at the Women's Bar Foundation of Massachusetts, where she is part of a legal team supporting survivors of Intimate Partner Domestic Violence and handling substantive family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and modifications. She holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, a combination that grounds her legal advocacy in a deep commitment to community and human dignity. Beyond her staff role, she teaches a weekly Family Engagement course at the Suffolk House of Correction.

Kareema’s work is premised on extending access to legal knowledge, enhancing the social determinants of health, and providing support to those who need it most. She sits on the board of Tree Boston and the Boston College Law School Black Alumni Network.

Atty. Scott was awarded the Peter J Gomes Alumni of Distinction Award from Harvard Divinity School in 2022, and is named a member of the 2026 class of Lawyers Weekly Top Women of Law.

Kareema is a proud mother of one, a daughter, Cheyenne, and is a member of a large close knit family. She is an avid gardener cultivating crops with a focus on Afro-indigenous plants and foodways and yoga practitioner.
