Tara D. Dunn


President-Elect

Tara Dunn is a new associate at Todd & Weld, LLP. Her practice will consist of white-collar criminal defense and a wide range of civil matters.

Tara recently completed a two-year fellowship as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Attorney General Maura Healey, where she served in three different divisions. In the Environmental Protection Division, she supported environmental justice initiatives, and carried out civil enforcement actions against businesses that violated environmental laws. In the Trial Division, Tara defended state agencies, officials, and employees sued in the context of their agency duties. Lastly, as a member of the Civil Rights Division, she engaged in a variety of civil rights initiatives and enforcement matters in state and federal fronts on topics including fair housing, discrimination, and lawful presidential powers.

Tara is a 2017 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to law school, she earned a Bachelor of Science and Parachutist Badge, as a Division I student-athlete, at the United States Air Force Academy. Upon graduating the Academy, she served as an active duty officer in Space Command.

Tara also serves as a Massachusetts Bar Foundation (“MBF”) Fellow. The MBF Society of Fellows is comprised of attorneys and judges committed to public service.
